GABB Group (Greater Akron Business for Breakfast) was formed in 2009 with the mission to provide relationship-driven business professionals the opportunity to gain education and development from one another by discussing pertinent topics in a monthly round table format. Much more than a typical networking group, GABB Group also offers attendees both the platform to share their 30 second commercial with the entire group and the chance for connecting one-on-one, both before and after the scheduled presentation.

The group meets monthly on the third Tuesday of the month (unless otherwise listed) from 9:00 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. and is open to any member of the business community who would like to share ideas, serve as a sounding board, lend a helping hand or ask for input from their peers. The cost to attend is just $5.00 (plus a nominal $1.26 Eventbrite processing fee)* and includes coffee, decaf, hot tea or water plus a muffin or danish. Come out and share your knowledge and share in the knowledge of others!

February's topic will be "Volunteerism and Resources" presented by Missy Klein, Community Education Liaison with Victim Assistance Program. Missy will share with the group the ABCs of volunteerism and the many resources that are available right here in the Greater Akron region.

This will be a great opportunity to engage in a roundtable discussion and we hope you'll be a part of theconversation! We had a fantastic group for January's meeting and we will undoubtedly have a top-notch crowd this month as well. We look forward to seeing you there!
